About

The Walls Specialist constructs, erects, and finishes vertical concrete structures including walls, foundations, and pillars with minimal supervision. This role is responsible for the structural process: accurate layout, setting forms, and installing reinforcement steel (rebar) to specification. Beyond assembly, you will help with pouring, spreading, and finishing of concrete, utilizing a range of tools, laser graders, and support machinery to ensure structural integrity.

• _{Form Setting & Stripping: Erecting and bracing wall forms (Symons, Western, or custom wood forms) and removing them post-cure.}
• _{Reinforcement (Rebar): Tying and placing rebar cages and mats according to engineering specifications.}
• _{Footing Preparation: Setting and pouring the base footings that support the entire vertical load.}
• _{Vertical Pour Management: Coordinating the "lift" of the pour to prevent form blowouts and ensure even consolidation.}
• _{Vibration & Consolidation: Expert use of mechanical vibrators to eliminate honeycombing and air pockets within the walls.}
• _{Structural Experience: Minimum of 2+ years experience specifically in vertical concrete or foundation work.}
